Privacy Policy

Effective 26 September 2026. This policy covers the website at whereiscricket.com.

The short version

This site shows you which cricket matches are on which channels. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no comment form and no contact form. It does not ask you for your name, your email address or anything else. The only data involved comes from advertising, and you can refuse that.

What is stored on your device

Two small values are saved in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device, they are never sent to us, and no cookie is used for either:

• cricket-region remembers which country you chose, so you are not asked again on your next visit.
• cricket-theme remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.

You can clear both at any time by clearing site data for this site in your browser settings. The site will simply ask again.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visit, including your IP address, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and which pages you view, in order to show and measure advertising.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can read how Google uses this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

The advertising technology providers that may be involved are the ones Google includes in its commonly used set, which is maintained and kept current by Google. The list is published at Ad technology providers.

Your choices and consent

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message before advertising cookies are set. It lets you consent, refuse, or choose specific purposes and partners, and your decision is remembered.

You can change or withdraw your decision at any time by reopen the consent message, or by clearing site data for this site in your browser, which makes the message appear again on your next visit.

If you do not consent, you can still use the site in full. You will see advertising that is not personalised, or no advertising at all. Nothing about the schedule changes either way.

Outside those regions you can still control personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of personalised advertising from many providers at aboutads.info.

What we do not do

• We do not require or collect your name, email address or phone number.
• We do not run first-party analytics or tracking scripts of our own.
• We do not sell any data, because we do not hold any.
• We do not send marketing email, because we have no list.

Fonts

The site uses the Geist typeface. The web application served at whereiscricket.com serves its own font files, so your browser makes no third-party request for them. The standalone version of this page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it does so.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase. For data held by Google for advertising, use the links above or Google's privacy tools. If you have a question about this policy, write to us.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
